Creating the National Taitung University 6G

National Taitung University embodies the traditions of higher normal education, the diversity of rich cultural heritage, integration through interdisciplinary technology, and continuous innovation in value. I personally anticipate collaborating with all faculty, staff, and students to build the 6G of National Taitung University: Generation (Creation), Genuine (Authenticity), Gift (Empowerment), Globalization, Green, and Growth (Sustainable).

Philosophy and Direction

With a history of 76 years and rich cultural heritage, National Taitung University encompasses the College of Education, College of Humanities, and College of Science and Engineering. The school's management philosophy will be planned around six main aspects: "People, Resources, Teaching, Research, Regulations, and Environment."

In terms of "Humanities, Talent": Creating a humanistic atmosphere of "teaching as nurturing, treating teachers as parents, and viewing colleagues as friends," along with implementing concrete plans for talent cultivation, recruitment, and utilization.

In terms of "Resources, Information": Actively seeking resources and strengthening digital information.

In terms of "Teaching, Education": Continuously pursuing excellence in teaching and providing comprehensive empowerment in education.

In terms of "Research, Innovation": Integrating interdisciplinary research and fostering collaboration between industry, government, academia, and research.

Education has nothing but love and examples!

Love is about "sensing with the heart." Empathizing with others, being mindful of changes in the environment and societal needs, seizing every opportunity to understand, care, and act. The footnote of my personal growth journey is: I believe, I am willing, I give love.

"To do as I say, and say as I do" is leading by example. Through the efforts of past faculty and students, our university has achieved excellence and set a fine example, serving as a model for individual learning. I will strive to progress on the path of education, cherishing every encounter, sharing the hope of faith in action, and conveying the values of truth, goodness, and beauty.
